Transfer to Shkodër (2 hrs). Check in to your hotel near the old bazaar. Afternoon: gear check and guide briefing. Walk to Rozafa Castle (3rd century BC) — three great views: Lake Shkodër, the Buna River delta, and the first jagged teeth of the Albanian Alps on the horizon. Evening: communal dinner with your guide. Review maps, set expectations, and get excited.
