Morning pickup from Tirana. Drive south. First stop: Apollonia — a 6th-century BC Greek city on a dramatic hilltop, with a museum, a perfectly preserved Bouleuterion (council hall), and almost no crowds. Continue to Vlorë — Albania's independence city, where the flag was raised in 1912. Seafront dinner on the Lungomare promenade with views of the Bay of Vlorë and the outline of Sazan Island.
