Terms & Conditions

By accessing and using the Mon Voyage website (monvoyage.al) and booking any of our tours, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services. These Terms and Conditions apply to all visitors, users, and customers of Mon Voyage, operated by Mon Voyage SH.P.K., a company registered in the Republic of Albania.

A booking is confirmed once you receive a written confirmation email from Mon Voyage with a unique booking reference number (format: ALB-YYYY-NNNNN). To complete a booking you must: • Be at least 18 years of age, or have a parent/guardian complete the booking on your behalf • Provide accurate personal information for all guests • Accept these Terms and Conditions at checkout • Complete payment in full (or arrange a deposit where applicable) Mon Voyage reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued promptly.

All prices displayed are in Euros (€) and are per person unless otherwise stated. Prices include VAT where applicable under Albanian law. Group pricing tiers: • Solo traveller — listed rate • Couple (2 people) — reduced per-person rate (approx. 17% off) • Small group (3–6) — further reduced rate (approx. 34% off) • Group (7–12) — best per-person rate (approx. 47% off) Payment is accepted by credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe, or by bank transfer. Payment must be received in full before the tour departure date. Mon Voyage uses Stripe's secure payment infrastructure — we do not store your card details. Prices are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed. Once confirmed, your price is locked.

Our cancellation policy is as follows: • Cancellation 40 or more days before departure: Full refund (100%), free of charge • Cancellation 30–39 days before departure: 75% refund • Cancellation 15–29 days before departure: 50% refund • Cancellation under 15 days before departure: No refund To cancel a booking, you must notify us in writing to incoming@monvoyage.al with your booking reference. Cancellations are effective from the date we receive written notification. Verbal cancellations are not accepted. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method. Bank transfer refunds may take up to 14 business days. Mon Voyage strongly recommends that all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical expenses, and personal liability.

Date changes requested by the customer are subject to availability and must be made at least 14 days before the original departure date. A date change fee of €20 per booking applies for changes made 7–14 days before departure. Changes within 7 days of departure are treated as a cancellation and rebooking, subject to the cancellation policy above. Mon Voyage reserves the right to modify tour itineraries, accommodations, or transportation due to weather conditions, safety concerns, local regulations, or circumstances beyond our control. Where significant changes are made prior to departure, customers will be offered the choice of: (a) accepting the modified tour, (b) transferring to another available date, or (c) receiving a full refund.

Mon Voyage reserves the right to exclude any participant from a tour whose conduct is deemed disruptive, dangerous, or offensive to other participants or local communities. No refund will be issued in such cases. All participants must: • Follow the guide's instructions at all times, particularly regarding safety • Respect local customs, dress codes, and cultural norms • Adhere to Albanian law at all times • Treat local communities and environments with respect Any damage caused to accommodation, vehicles, or property through participant negligence will be charged directly to that participant.

Some tours involve physical activity including hiking, trekking, or extended walking. Each tour is clearly marked with a difficulty level (Easy, Moderate, or Challenging). It is the participant's responsibility to ensure they are physically capable of completing the chosen tour. If you have any medical conditions, disabilities, or concerns about fitness for a particular tour, please contact us before booking. We will do our best to accommodate needs but cannot guarantee this for all tours. Mon Voyage is not liable for any injury, illness, or health event arising from participation in our tours, provided our guides have exercised reasonable care.

To the fullest extent permitted by Albanian law, Mon Voyage' total liability to any customer shall not exceed the total price paid for the tour in question. Mon Voyage is not liable for: • Events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or border closures • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during a tour • Actions of third-party suppliers (airlines, hotels, local operators) where these are outside our control • Any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by Mon Voyage' negligence.

All content on the Mon Voyage website — including text, photographs, graphics, logos, and tour itineraries — is the property of Mon Voyage SH.P.K. and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission. You may share links to our website and use our content for personal, non-commercial reference purposes.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tirana, Albania. Nothing in this clause removes any right you hold under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence. If you are a consumer resident in the United States, the European Union, or the United Kingdom, you retain any protections your local law grants you that cannot be waived by agreement. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Mon Voyage SH.P.K. is a tour operator registered in Albania (VAT M41308036V). We sell directly to travellers worldwide, including the United States. Currency and card charges. All prices are set and charged in euro (EUR). The currency selector on our website converts prices for display only — it is a convenience, not a quoted rate. Your card issuer performs the actual conversion at its own rate on the day of the charge, and may add a foreign transaction fee of its own. The euro amount shown at checkout is the amount you are agreeing to pay. Card acceptance. We accept internationally issued Visa and Mastercard. Some US-issued cards decline cross-border transactions by default; if your payment is declined, contacting your card issuer to authorise an international charge usually resolves it. Bank transfer is available as an alternative, though it is generally slower and may incur intermediary bank fees for transfers originating outside the SEPA area. Disputes and chargebacks. We ask that you contact us first at info@monvoyage.al — most issues are resolved faster directly than through a card dispute. This does not limit your right to raise a chargeback with your card issuer. Travel documents and entry. You are responsible for holding a passport valid for the duration of your trip and for meeting Albania's entry requirements. US citizens do not currently require a visa for tourist stays of up to one year, but entry rules can change; check the current guidance from the US Department of State before travelling. We cannot refund a booking on the basis of a refused entry or an invalid travel document. Insurance. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical treatment, evacuation, and trip cancellation. US domestic health insurance and Medicare generally provide no coverage in Albania.
